Annual General Meeting 2008
Thursday, November 20, 2008 marked the end of an era. Jordan Hermant
finished his term as President of the Board of Directors of Humber
Community Seniors' Services. For those of you who don't know him, Jordan had been
on our board for 10 years in various roles ranging from Director, to
Treasurer, and for the last 3 years, he served the agency well as President.
On behalf of the clients, volunteers, and staff of Humber Community Seniors'
Services, I would like to extend our appreciation to Jordan and we wish him well
in his future endeavours.
Our Open House and Annual General Meeting for the fiscal year 2007/2008 was
very well attended. Clients, volunteers, donors and friends of Humber had the
opportunity to enjoy some great food that was prepared by Epicure
Catering, our hot meal supplier for our meals on wheels program. Additionally, everyone was
entertained by Jillian Cameron, singer songwriter.
